Our Story
Healthy Roots was built on an unexpected journey. What started as a summer job while pursuing a degree in Art and Graphic Design quickly became a lifelong passion. Working in commercial landscape maintenance introduced our founder to the science of horticulture—the art of creating healthy, thriving landscapes through proper plant care, soil health, and sustainable landscape practices.
Over the years, that passion grew into a career dedicated to understanding not just how to maintain landscapes, but why they thrive. While many companies focus on mowing grass and maintaining appearances, we believe exceptional landscapes begin with horticultural knowledge. Every pruning cut, every plant selection, every soil amendment, and every landscape improvement should be made with the long-term health of the property in mind.
Our background in graphic design also shapes the way we approach every project. We combine an eye for design with a deep understanding of horticulture to create landscapes that are both beautiful and built to last.
